General Description
Mixed Fruit in Light Syrup is a canned food prepared from a mixture of diced Yellow Clingstone peaches, diced Bartlett pears, whole seedless grapes, and packed in a light syrup consisting of water, sugar and Corn Syrup. No sulfites added.

When it comes to the many ways that fruit can be presented, Del Monte leads the way. Del Monte fruit cocktail and Mixed fruit are two delicious - but different - combinations packed by Del Monte. Fruit cocktail contains diced peaches, diced pears, whole grapes, pineapple tidbits and halved cherries. Mixed fruit contains diced peaches, diced pears, and whole grapes. The careful processing of these products assures that each fruit blend is uniform from can to can. But long before these products even get near the can, they go through a rigorous inspection. We ensure that color, flavor and syrup quality is unquestionably the very best.

PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES:
Color: The color should be reasonably uniform and bright with each
component having its color typical of mature fruit.
Flavor: Normal for each fruit.
Texture: Firm, but not hard.
Size/Shape: Peaches and pears - reasonably uniform in 0.6" cubes. Very few
small pieces and chips; grapes - medium size of 1/2" - 5/8"

• Side dish - serve with cottage cheese or mix with fruit in season.
• Dessert - excellent as an ingredient for desserts: pies, tarts, shortcake and others.
• Breakfast/Salad/Fruit Bar - rotate individually or mix with other fruits for variety.
• Adds flavor and interest to bran/corn muffins, specialty breads and other baked goods.
• Side dish - serve with cottage cheese or mix with fruit in season.
• Dessert - excellent as an ingredient for desserts: pies, tarts, shortcake and others.
• Breakfast/Salad/Fruit Bar - rotate individually or mix with other fruits for variety.

• Use as an ingredient in gelatins and puddings.
• For a "light lunch" special, use mixed fruit as a side accompaniment to assorted cheeses and breads or muffins.
