Serving Suggestions Variations: For flavor, texture & appearance add any of the following: Mustard, chopped pickle relish, horseradish, bacon bits, chopped spinach, grated cheese, shredded carrot, celery, dill, dried herbs, shredded zucchini. Preparation and Cooking Instructions Step 1: Combine 3 tbsp salt, 1/2 lb butter or margarine and 5 1/4 qts boiling water in mixing bowl. Step 2: Add 6 1/4 cups cold milk and stir to combine ingredients. Step 3: Pour in 2 1/2 lbs potato flakes. Stir by hand or use a paddle mixer at low speed until fluffy. DO NOT WHIP!
